Dimdim is a browser-based web conferencing software, where the presenter can share his or her desktop with the other attendees and viewers. The clients use Flash, the presenter runs an ActiveX component to access the local machine. The Dimdim server can be inhouse or hosted. Dimdim can be integrated with other software such as SugarCRM or Moodle.

Early 2011 Dimdim was acquired by SalesForce.com. The open source code made available by Dimdim remains available on SourceForge.net. However, the Dimdim company is no longer contributing to the project.
